According to the Redline Timeline, the Forklifter Handlebars were released on January 1st 1984."Redline introduces the Forklifter system; still one of the cleanest and most precision chromoly handlebars ever created. The 4-piece bar featured capped/curved ends and welded-on numberplate tabs, to fit the pre-formed Forklifter plate."
