NTKK Skin Wall Tires

"The NTKK is also a "snakebelly" type tire. The side knobs and center are of the directional variety. The lug height and spacing is very similar to the other types of snakebellies. The NTKK works well in almost any applications, dry, wet or hard pack." ~ Tire Comparison Review by Bob Hadley in BMX Plus!, March 1981.

The NTKK Motocross Skin Wall tire is manufactured in Japan by the National Tire Co. and is available as a 20 x 1.75" or 20 x 2.125". Most racers used these in a "fat-skinny" combination.

Diamond Back Skin Wall Tires

"The Diamond Back Skin Wall 1.75 works equally well in the front or rear. It's an excellent tire for both, especially for younger riders. In fact almost all the Diamond Back team riders who are under 12 years old use this tire front and rear. The Diamond Back Skin Wall 2.125 is primarily a racing tire for front tire use. it works well in a variety of surfaces including hard pack, mud and loam." ~ Tire Comparison Review by Bob Hadley in BMX Plus!, March 1981.
