A'me Cam Grips
StillFive
A'ME CAM Grips were originally pre-released to the selected pro riders in late 1979. They officially hit the stores in 1980. These were the first grips that A'ME put on the market.
A'ME CAM Grips originally came in white, black, gray, red, yellow and blue.
In 2010, A'ME reissued the original A'ME CAM Grips for their 30th Anniversary. The NEW A'ME CAM Grips are composed of Vulcathane™, a specially blended rubber compound combined with UV stabilizing ingredients that exhibit superior oxidation and ozone resistance. As a result, A'ME CAM Grips will not absorb moisture, deteriorate, harden, or become slick with age all the while providing extremely durability and superior comfort.

Timeline
- June 1979 - "I bought my KKT 'LMX' pedals in September 1979...the day they hit my LBS! The shop owner said they were 'a brand new addition' to KKT's lineup which already included the 'regular' Lightnings that I'd purchased several months earlier for my kid's Proline! As far as exact dates go,I can't actually say when either were released but I'd guess 'sometime' in 1979 for both!" ~ BOMAT_1 (BMX Society)
