Addicks Chainring

Created by Lyle Addicks, founder of Addicks Engineering in Los Angeles, California. Addicks chainrings were created by injection moulding Millardium, a super-tough blend of DuPont Zytel with Teflon and silicone.
Addicks Chainrings came with 39 to 48 teeth and were available in red, blue, yellow, white and graphite.
The Addicks Sprockets went through three phases:

The Addicks Sprockets went through three phases:
- Phase I - original swiss cheese sprocket made from DuPont Zytel with Teflon and silicone. These were strong and tough.
- Phase II - The compound was changed and these sprockets begun to break easily;
- Phase III - Released in 1978 and moved back to the original DuPont Zytel with Teflon and silicone formula with additional tweaks to make them better.
