Mongoose Skinwall Competition Tires
StillFive
"The Mongoose Tire would have to rate as one of the more popular tires on the racing circuit. It has certainly proved to be versatile enough, with wins at virtually every national this year (1981). The tread parttern is sort of a block/snakebelly combination that provides good grip and self-cleans very well." ~ Tire Comparison Review by Bob Hadley in BMX Plus!, March 1981.
The Mongoose Skinwall Competition tire is made in Japan and is available as a Skinwall in 20 x 1.75" and 20 x 2.125" size. Most racers used these in a "fat-skinny" combination.
